Integration Courses

Sprachendienst Konstanz is accredited by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees
(BAMF) as an integration course provider.

We support and promote mutual acceptance (intercultural receptiveness) between immigrants and locals.
The projects also aim to improve harmonious co-existence and facilitate participation in the local community
on an equal footing.

We as an accredited integration course provider offer courses and register all attendees
with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). In addition, we implement the tests and examinations during the integration course.

General integration courses are aimed at all immigrants who wish to learn German. On general integration courses, everyone, that is, women and men, parents and young
people, young and old all learn together.

Modules: Module is a term used to describe a section of a course. A module consists of
100 lessons. This does not apply to the orientation course, which is only 60 hours. A full integration course consists of six modules (level A1, A2 and B1 - two modules each level) and the orientation course.

Group size: 15 - 20 participants

Course fees: A lesson in the integration course costs 1.00 EUR for those who are admitted onto an integration course. Attendees may, on application, be exempt from contributing to costs. Others pay 2.54 EUR per lesson, from 1 July 2012: 1,20 EUR. Our Standard Course Book is „Schritte plus“. Purchase is obligatory (14 EUR per book/module).

The final examination consists of two tests:

Taking the final test is free of charge. If you pass the language test at level B1 and the orientation course test, then you have passed the final examination. You will then receive the "Zertifikat Integrationskurs" (integration course certificate). If you do not pass the language test at level B1, you are allowed to repeat three modules.
